Russia president Vladimir Putin received a telephone call from US President Donald Trump on Monday, according to a White House source who spoke anonymously to AFP. Trump aims to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which began with Russia’s military intervention.Earlier on Monday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt indicated that Trump’s primary objective for the conversation was to achieve a resolution to the conflict. She also noted that the US president had become increasingly impatient and dissatisfied with both parties involved in the situation.
