JAC Class 12 result 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially declared the Class 12 Science and Commerce results for the academic session 2024–25 on May 31, 2025. The results were announced during a press conference held at the JAC auditorium in Ranchi, in the presence of Shri Ramdas Soren, Honourable Minister of School Education and Literacy, Jharkhand. Students who appeared for the exams can now access their results online from 12:30 PM onwards via the official portals.This year, approximately 98,634 students appeared for the Science stream and 22,066 for Commerce, contributing to nearly 3 lakh students across all streams appearing for the board exams. The results show a pass percentage of 79.26% in Science and a higher 91.2% in Commerce, reflecting strong performances across both streams.

Close behind her, Hasan Seikh and Piyush Shaw also achieved excellent results, demonstrating strong competition in the stream. The overall pass percentage in Commerce stands impressively at 91.2%, reflecting a positive trend among students.

Among these, 58,732 students secured First Division, 19,383 obtained Second Division, and only 63 students were placed in Third Division. Additionally, 20 students passed without any division.In Commerce, out of 22,066 examinees, 20,285 students passed, yielding a pass percentage of 91.2%. First Division was achieved by 12,829 students, Second Division by 7,234, and Third Division by 222 students. The high pass rate in Commerce is a positive indicator of student performance in the vocationally significant stream.Exam structure and marking criteriaThe Class 12 board exams for Science and Commerce were conducted from February 11 to March 3, 2025, for theory papers, followed by practical exams held from March 4 to March 20, 2025. Each subject is marked out of 100, with theory carrying 80 marks and practicals 20 marks where applicable. To pass, students must secure at least 33% in both theory and practicals separately and overall.
