The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has commenced the online counselling process for UGET 2025 from June 9, 2025. Candidates who qualified in the entrance exam can now register on the official website — comedk.org — to participate in the admission process for undergraduate engineering courses across Karnataka. The counselling window will remain open until June 18, 2025, 2 PM.
How to register for COMEDK counselling 2025 ?
To participate in counselling, candidates must:
- Visit comedk.org
- Log in using COMEDK application number and password
- Click on the “Counselling Registration” tab
- Pay the non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 2,000 online
- Upload required documents as per the format and size guidelines

List of documents required for COMEDK counselling
Candidates must upload clear, scanned copies of the following:
- Class 10 mark sheet or birth certificate (for date of birth proof)
- Class 12 (or equivalent) mark sheet
COMEDK UGET 2025 Rank Card- Recent passport-size photograph
- Signature of candidate and parent/guardian
- Government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport)
- Caste or minority certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile/residence proof (for certain quotas, if claimed)
Note: Failing to upload correct or valid documents may lead to disqualification from the counselling process.
Choice filling and seat allotment
Once the documents are verified, candidates can move to the choice filling stage. This allows them to select their preferred colleges and branches based on availability. COMEDK will conduct a mock allotment round to help candidates gauge their chances before finalising choices. After this, students can make changes to their preferences and proceed to the final seat allotment.Based on the choices filled, rank, and category, seats will be allotted. Candidates will then have options such as:
- Accept & Freeze (finalise the seat)
- Accept & Upgrade (retain the seat while waiting for better options)
- Reject & Upgrade
- Reject & Withdraw
